JS Twin Shaft Concrete Mixer maintenance in Mixing Plant

Use of raw materials

This mixer is suitable for powdery and granular inert substances, and particle size should not exceed 150mm, 120~150mm medium does not exceed 12% of the total capacity.

Service Restrictions: Materials with a volume greater than 150mm and a quantity exceeding 12% , soil with moisture close to 15% are not applicable to JS Twin Shaft Concrete Mixer. Semi-dry concrete mixture stick on the mixer shaft, will increase diameter of agitator shaft. Ultimately will reduce the mixing efficiency of the mixing arm. So you must keep the mixing shaft clean.

Cleaning of the Concrete Mixer

When the production is over or the machine is down for more than half an hour, the mixer should be cleaned. The remaining material in the mixer should be thoroughly cleaned after batching the material in concrete batching plant every day . Meanwhile , in the process of water washing, the gravel can be mixed with about 500kg for the sake of the cleaner cleaning.

Other Daily Inspection Items

  1. The looseness and the tightness of the bolts For a week, the tightness of the blade, the mixing arms and the lining bolt should be checked. After working 2000h, must check the tightness of the belt pulley and the coupling bolts.

  2. Bolt tightening torque Mixing arm 420nm;Blade 200nm; Lining board 100nm; Belt pulley 130nm; Coupling 100nm; Spindle nose 450nm

  3. Wear degree of quick-wear part Replacement when the mixing arm’s wear degree is up to 50%, the thickness of the lining board is less than 3mm, blade clearance can no longer be adjusted. 4 Check and adjust the tensioning of the conveyor belt (check belt tension )

  • Remove the flywheel cover

  • Check to see if all the belts are in good condition or are derailment and aging

(Note: if one or more belts are aging, a complete set of belts must be replaced immediately.)

  • When pressure on belt 100N(10kg), the pressure point is between two pulley, apply pressure to the middle, the deformation of the belt in this direction does not exceed 20mm
